My Tribute To Ali.

My dear friend Ali was a beautiful friend.
She gave so much of herself and never did offend.
Her beautiful poetry came from her heart.
With love and feeling every verse, every part.

Our friendship started on the Internet.
And developed and grew strong from the time we met.
We both write poetry of a Spiritual kind.
Precious words entwine to please the mind.

Ali’s health at time made her feel insane.
Making her suffer and in so much pain.
Medication did not always give her relief.
Her faith in our Lord, she sent her belief.

Each year came and went leaving her weak and alone.
Family and friends became close taking away any moan.
Ali’s poetry showed so much love and to care.
Prayers were sent and love from everywhere.

Then came the day Our Dear Lord held out His hand.
And gently took Ali to the Promise Land.
In Heaven she now lives. No more suffering or pain.
Now it’s all sunshine and no more rain.
