TRIBUTE TO RONALD REAGAN

HINTS ON SPIRITUAL UNFOLDMENT

TOO AFRAID

I look at myself in the mirror
And wonder why I'm all alone
There's no one for me to talk to
There's no one who will telephone.

I spent my life never seeking out friendship
Never looking for a love that was true
I was too afraid I would get hurt
Too afraid to make contact with you.

So not I'm here all alone
If I cry out will you hear me?
Will you try once more to be my friend
And save me from this roiling Black Sea.

I long to hear the laughter of friends
I long for some love and companionship
I long to feel just a tender touch
I long for some kindess and fellowship.

So if you see that look in my eye
Don't be afraid to try and approach me
I'm eager to make your acquaintance
I just want a friend can't you see.
