Chee Chee wrote this poem after the passing of her father.

MY STRUGGLE

You passed away while I was enroute
Your death was so difficult for me
Because I never got to say good-bye
And kiss your cheek you see.

Time has started to mend my heart
The days are passing by
The sun comes up every morning
But I still continue to ask why.

Why you felt you had to give up
And why the Lord took you to his side
This is what I'm dealing with
And this is why I still cry.

But it seems to be getting easier
As each day comes and goes
I've started to smile when I think of you
And I'm becoming aware, I know.

You were so very tired
This was plain for the Lord to see
He decided you had suffered enough
And wanted your soul to be free.

You were my father here on earth
And everyone knows that's true
They also know I will always miss you
And I know you're aware of this too!

But we will see each other again
I know this is a fact
Because the good Lord has assured me
That the days will quickly pass.

My time on earth seems so long
The days, the months, the years
I know I will see you very soon
The time is drawing near.
