He Is Risen

Dear Heavenly Father we come to You today
As we kneel down, please hear us while we pray.
Give us the strength to go on and follow Your lead
With You by our side, we know we’ll proceed.

With each stripe You bore to save us from sin.
May we be forgiven and keeping You within.
Keep us safe within Your loving arms
Watching o’er us so that we face no harms.

As we approach this Easter Holiday
May we keep the faith always day by day?
May we show others Your comfort and love?
As You keep watch o’er us from above.

May we never forget why You came to us long ago?
Learning more about You as Your pathway we show.
Teach us to be more likeYou, Our Lord and King
May we abide with Thee always, as with all You shall bring?
