Good Morning Sun and how are you?
Are you going to brighten my day?
Giving all your sunshine to everything
So us kids can come out and play.

You sit up in that big blue sky
And smile down on us everyday
Your beautiful rays helps everything grow
And you do it in a fun filled way.

So if you go behind that cloud
Don't stay hidden for too long
Be sure to peek out every now and then
Come back to where you belong.

The moon chases your brightness away
Do you go to another place?
Do you forever shine above
Even though you're in outer space?

Just as long as you come back everyday
I'll be as happy as can be
I can go outside and have some fun
I'll pick some flowers for you and me!
