I have added this section, THE FUTURE, to let you see a lighter side of Spiritualists. Many get comfort from going to a Medium to have contact with their loved ones in the Spirit World. Also Mediums do give what we call "A Reading". This is what many of you will call fortune telling. A true Medium will not only give you some look a head in your future, but will give you great comfort of your loved ones in the Spirit World and of the past. I do hope you enjoy this section as I have given you methods from the past, what Victorians enjoyed and ways to tell your future. Take it with a light heart and always be open minded. This page starts with what everyone recites at some time in their life. Then the Victorians had meanings to all those itches we get. Then a little test to see when you will get married. BIRTHDAY FORECAST

MONDAY : The child born on this day will not be very successful in any enterprise he undertakes, because although he is handsome he is irresolute and apt to be imposed upon, because he has a good-natured disposition and is usually ready and willing to oblige everyone who asks a favor of him.

TUESDAY : The Tuesday child is generous, patient, and willing to shoulder other people's burdens. He is the one who will help a lame dog across the stile, who devotes his time to worthy causes. Anyone in trouble automatically turns to him for aid.

WEDNESDAY : The child ushered into the world on this day will be of a studious and sedate turn of mind who takes life seriously and is inclined to be a pessimist. He is fond of the arts and literature and could well be a gifted writer.

THURSDAY : Those who first see the light of day on a Thursday are "born with a silver spoon in their mouth". They succeed at anything they turn their hands to, and usually make plenty of money.

FRIDAY : The child born on Friday is strong and healthy and will be lucky in any enterprise in life. He has a happy home and is thoughtful, kind, and loving to his spouse.

SATURDAY : Saturday's child is a toiler. He works for everything he gets, but he usually progresses to an honored and respected position in society.

SUNDAY : The child born on Sunday will obtain great riches, be long-lived, and enjoy much happiness.

ITCHES WERE AUGURIES TO THE VICTORIANS.

( In the last century some quaint methods of fortune-telling were used.) "The Victorian Book of Dreams" give these instructions for interpreting itches :

1. If the crown of your head itches, you may expect to be advanced to a more honorable position in life.

2. If your right eyebrow should immoderately itch, be assured that you are going to meet a long-absent friend or a long-estranged lover.

3. Should your left eyebrow be visited with a tantalising itching, you will soon look upon the sickness of a friend or your lover will forsake you.

4. A ringing in your right ear is an augury that you will shortly hear some pleasant news.

5. A ringing in your left ear is a sign that you will in a short time receive intelligence of an unpleasant nature.

6. When your left ear tingles someone is backbiting you.
7. A violent itching of the nose foretells trouble and sorrow to those who experience it.

8. An itching of the lips is a sign that someone is speaking disrespectfully of you.

9. An itching on the right shoulder signifies that you will shortly have a large legacy bequeathed to you.

10. When you feel an itching sensation on your left shoulder, be sure that you are about to bear a heavy burden of sorrow and trouble.

11. If your right elbow joint itches, you may expect shortly to hear some intelligence that will give you extreme pleasure.

12. Should you be annoyed with a violent itching on your left elbow joint, you will experience some vexatious disappointment.

13. If you feel an itching on the palm of your right hand, you may expect soon to receive some money which you have been long expecting.

14. When the palm of your left hand itches, you may expect to be called upon to pay of a debt which you have not personally incurred.

15. If you have an itching sensation on your right knee, you will shortly undergo a remarkable and beneficial change in your life.

16. If a similar sensation prevails on your left knee, you may expect to undergo a change of an unfavorable nature.

17. When your ankle joints itch, be sure that you are about to be united to one whom you love.

18. When the sole of your right foot itches, you may feel assured that you are about to undertake a pleasant journey.

19. Should you experience a similar sensation on the sole of your left foot, you may expect to be called upon to take an unpleasant journey.

WHEN WILL YOU MARRY?

Girls always want to know if they will be married, and when. This is one
old way of telling when:
Balance your teaspoon on the edge of the cup. The spoon should be perfectly dry. Then drop tea into the balanced spoon, a drop at a time,
until the spoon is upset.
The number of drops will tell you the number of years you have to wait
before you will be married.
