The Cancerian manner is quiet, soft - spoken and shy: noises disturb him/her. His/her interest is aroused only if a subject concerns him/her personally.

He dislikes entering into conversations just for the sake of politeness.

The male Cancer falls in love readily and becomes totally involved emotionally.
He tends to dramatise his love affairs and can even create an intense emotional attachment to someone whose affection for him is either very slight or even non - existent.
Cancer is extremelly jealous and possessive, harboring suspicions that his lover is faithless.
The Cancer girl, who can be as jealous as her male counterpart, is capable of handling more than one lover, but being possessive. She must own them all.
Because Cancer is money-mad, the Cancer girl will drain the purse of each and every lover.
Cancer will cling to his/her lover, and his/her never-ending demand for emotional fulfillment will be a continual drain. He/she likes to be touched constantly, as if for reassurance.

Cancer's element is Water. Symbolic of the emotions, water signs need to give and receive. They thrive on the exchange of feelings. They need security and loved to be wrapped in an environment of love and comfort. Truly a wonderful example of Yin receptivity, Cancer seems to absorb memories, feelings and psychic messages. Of course, they send back their own good vibes in the process. The cardinal' motivation energizes their strong ability to provide for others. Few work as hard and as tenaciously as Cancer.
