Colours of The Aura

Exercise and Cleansing The Aura

Once again I say thank you to Lissa Young who wrote about the Chakras, for giving me permission to bring to you her work on the AURAS.  I would also like for you to visit "Spiritspeaks Website" to see the beautiful colours that come from our aura.  I am not able to bring the beautiful colours myself.  The picture below is the nearest I can to showing you the auras colour around you.  My own drawing.

THE AURA DEPICTED IN SYMBOLIC FORM.

In the centre is the MAGNETIC FIELD.
Then the colours of the rainbow, starting from the inside.
First RED which is EMOTION.
Next is ORANGE which is ENERGY.
Next is YELLOW which is the MIND.
Next is GREEN which is PSYCHE.
Next is LIGHT BLUE which is SPIRITUAL.
Next is INDIGO which is INTUITION.
And the outer layer is VIOLET which is INSPIRATION.

AURA'S  By Lissa Young.

(Aura: A subtle invisible essence or fluid said to emanate from human and animal bodies, and even from things.  A psychic electro-vital-mental effluvium partaking of both mind and body, hence the atmosphere surrounding a person;  character;  personality.   (LATIN)  AURA - a breeze.

KALEIDOSCOPES
We are like kaleidoscopes in the hand of a viewer.........    Forever changing.
We are the viewer...........  Forever changing others.
When is it time to stop turning the wheel?            NEVER!
The wheel was meant to be turned........     The scene was meant to be changed.

INTRODUCTION

We live in a scene of energy.  Everything is energy.  The aura is the energy field surrounding all life forms.  The aura has been depicted throughout history in literature and paintings.  Angel pictures show it as a halo.  Pictures of Jesus often depict a light around his head.  But the aura is not something unique to angels and religious leaders.  We each have this field of energy.  A rock has one, a cat has one, you have one, everyone and everything has an aura.
Imagine a space filled with radiant light.  Energy flows and swirls through it in bright colours.  This life energy moves around you, as you sit nestled safely in the centre.  This place is your aura:  your own personal universe.  It is your protection, your playground.  It constantly moves and changes, as you move and change.
Auras come in every colour of the rainbow.  The human aura has seven layers.  The colours and energies in your aura can change in a short period of time, although you may have a basic colour, or combination of colours, that stays constant.  These colours are your signature.  Think of them as your " favourite colours".  These colours are part of your personality, they make you an individual because they reflect your life experiences.
The basic colours in your aura can evolve over time, just as you do.  Auras are flexible, in other words, they change all of the time.  Size, colours, texture, and density can all change depending on your state of mind, your physical wellbeing and what you are experiencing in life.  Usually, though there is a basic pattern.  The size and shape of your aura is unique to you.  Your aura could be bigger in front of you than it is behind.  Some auras come to a "point" at the top, while others are more egg-shaped.  There are really no "typical" auras, because we are all different.  Your aura can extend out a few inches from your skin, or many feet.
The primary function of the aura is to regulate the energy within the body.  The regulation of energy is accomplished through a series of energy transfer points which we know as the chakras.  The chakras perform the actual work of regulating the energy.  It is impossible to separate the chakras from the aura as it is the chakras that help to form the aura.  Basic energy is drawn up from the planet through the feet and is fed into the chakras, much like a plant does with water.  Each chakra is a transformer that generates energy of a different type and colour.  All together, these chakras generate the dominant hue of the aura.  The chakras have three main functions in relation to the aura and the auric bodies.

  1. Energize each auric body.
  2. Develop different aspects of the consciousness.
  3. Regulate the flow of energy between the auric layers.

Each one of the auric layers is governed by a specific chakra (as seen in the chart below) but all the chakras exist on all layers.  So, since there are seven auric layers, there are a total of 56 chakras manifesting on all seven layers and the physical body.  While all of this detail seems overwhelming, it is more for information.  When working with the aura most people generally work with the overall aura or energy field as opposed to a specific section.

With scientific developments the aura now can be photographed.  This process is known as Kirlian Photography.  The various colours seen can give clues as to our emotional and physical well-being.  As the physical state of a person can be seen through the aura, it is possible to detect disease at an early stage.  As more work is done in this field it may someday be used for medical diagnosis.

LAYERS OF THE AURA

PHYSICAL BODY

The physical aura is the part of the human energy field that all of us can sense with our ordinary senses.  It can be starting at the edge of the skin of the physical body.  A colourless gap seen between the physical body and the coloured layers of aura.  It is the densest part of the energy field.  If a person is in good health then this layer can appear bright with no breaks in it.  When it takes on a imbalance a bulge can be seen and we can become ill or "out of sorts".  It is the visible counterpart and extension of all the other bodies, in a downward flowing process.

1
ETHERIC

The first auric layer is the Etheric layer.  The etheric layer is closest to the physical body and fits like a second skin.  It has a definite size and shape.  Generally it extends from ¼ of an inch to 2 inches from the body.  Lines of energy are readily seen in this section of the aura since it is most closely linked to the physical body.  It usually appears to "sight" as a blue colour.  The shade of blue relates to the physical condition and health of the physical body.  Athletes have strong etheric aura's of a deeper blue in shade.  In the etheric aura you feel all the sensations, both pain and pleasure.  Whenever there is pain the flow of energy in that area of the etheric is eratic.

2
EMOTIONAL

The second auric layer is the Emotional layer.  This layer deals with emotions, emotions with us and emotions we have for other people.  This layer extends about 2 to 4 inches and although the form pretty much approximates the human shape it is not as defined as the etheric layer.  In fact, each layer becomes less and less structured as a physical person.  This layer appears as rainbow coloured clouds.  Positive feelings generally create bright colours in this layer, where as negative feelings generally create dark colours.  Problems in this aura will eventually lead to problems in the first and third layers.

3
MENTAL

The third layer is the Mental layer.  This is the layer of thought and ideas.  It extends about 4 to 8 inches from the physical body and is usually most visible around the head and shoulders as a yellowish light, especially when one is focusing the mind.  Thought forms appear as blobs which may carry other colours if emotions are attached to the thoughts.  The more active our thinking processes the brighter our mental aura becomes.

The functions of the first three layers are identifiable by most people.  They handle the way we interact energetically with the physical world.  However, beyond the "lower" bodies exist three more higher bodies that handle the spiritual counterparts of the etheric, emotional and mental aspects of the spiritual world.  In addition, they are linked by a bridge layer which lies between the spiritual and physical realms.  This is called the astral body.

4
ASTRAL {Bridge}

The fourth layer is the Astral layer.  This layer extends about 8 to 12 inches from the physical body.  It is similar in appearance to the emotional body, the colours are brighter and rose-hued with the light of love.  This layer marks the division between the physical layers and the higher layers.  It is where we experience love, both personally and spiritually, the love for humanity.

5
ETHERIC TEMPLATE

The fifth layer is the Etheric Template.  This layer is a copy of the physical body on a higher level.  It extends about 12 to 24 inches from the physical body and appears as a blueprint like the negative of a photograph.  The etheric template holds the etheric aura in place.  This level is associated with a higher will more connected with Divine Will.  Here we create through word and thought, and we must take responsibility for our actions.

6
CELESTIAL

The sixth layer is the Celestial body.  It extends about 24 inches from the physical body and appears as pearly shimmering light of pastel colours.  It is the emotional level on the spiritual plane.  Through this layer we are able to commune with Spirit.  It is the level of unconditional love and trust.  It can be reached through meditation and other spiritual practices of a devotional nature.  The celestial body carries our experience of spiritual love, the connection with and nurturance of all life.

7
KETHERIC TEMPLATE  {OR CAUSAL BODY}

The seventh layer is the Ketheric Template, also known as the Causal Body.  It extends to at least 3 feet from the physical body.  This is the mental layer of the spiritual level.  Through this layer we can become one with the Spirit.  This is a template of tine threads of golden-silver light that surrounds, protects and holds the whole aura together.  Although the least dense, this is the strongest and most resilient level of the aura.  The golden light that shimmers through the fine filaments at this level are an extension of Divine Mind.  This is the higher mind, the highest level of knowing and integrating our spiritual Self with our physical self.  It is worth noting that at a certain point in our development, the causal body "breaks" open, allowing the light of the soul to enter in.  At this point, the individual's life becomes soul-directed, and the "light body" is created.
